Uppunda Beach

Well, you might have never heard of this beach. Off course it is true, as it is not a tourist spot. But I think this is one of the beautiful beaches, off course it's my hometown beach.

Just 2-3 kilometers away from our house lies the uppunda beach. Well, being born and brought up in coastal town, it might not be that fascinating for me to see the beaches, but it makes sense to visit the beaches at least once or twice an year.

The beach looks totally deserted (off course as I said it is not a tourist spot) except few fisherman here and there. Well, I think it is definitely a place for someone to meditate as you wont hear anything other then the roaring sea.

There was a group of fisherman trying to topple a boat for some repair which was clearly showing their 'team work' !

One of the fascinating thing I could see this time was, the water coming over the rock formations which I used to go over during childhood. By seeing the force of water coming like a waterfall, I did not dare to go on top of it.

Now I am sure you agree, Uppunda beach is one of the beautiful beach that you would visit given a chance :)
